Many people are aware that Chattanooga and the surrounding areas are known for outdoor activities and attractions such as hiking and water activities. What you may not know is that there are also some of the best indoor activities that you can’t miss out on, rain or shine. Tennessee Aquarium

If you are an animal lover and enjoy seeing cute water critters, the Tennessee Aquarium is a great place to visit. With two exhibits, the River Journey and Ocean Journey, you can view many types of sea creatures and water-based animals, including sharks, otters, turtles, and of course the famous penguins. The aquarium also has a beautiful butterfly garden you can walk through and is definitely worth the trip.

Ruby Falls

Ruby Falls may be one of the highlights of Chattanooga and Rock City. It is located under Lookout Mountain, offers cavern adventures, and features beautiful waterfalls that are sure to take your breath away. No matter what the weather is, Ruby Falls is one attraction you cannot pass up.
