Visit www.SallieMae.com/SmartOption If you would like to apply for the Smart Option Loan through Sallie Mae please apply by visiting their website at www.SallieMae.com/SmartOption select the Smart Option Loan option. It takes approximately 24 hours to process the application and a representative of SLM Financial will notify you of their credit decision.

Southeast Lineman Training Center can accept the GI Bill for training at SLTC.

Please follow the step by step instructions to get started:
1. Download and print the VA Form 22-1990. 2. Complete the form and mail it to Southeast Lineman Training Center , 9481 Hwy. 11, Trenton GA 30752. 3. The SLTC VA representative will complete the VA-ONCE online enrollment of the student. 5. Veterans will receive a letter notifying them of the amount the VA will pay for training. 6. It will take approximately 8 weeks for the VA to verify forms and get the veteran in the system.
Our Electrical program is approximately 4 months in length and the VA can only pay a maximum amount per month. Since the G.I. Bill does not cover the complete cost of the program veterans can take out a student loan if they need to. The student loan documents are available on the top of this page.
